Get Flock!

I have good news though. I have been asked a question in real life that I will now convert into an Ask Us question and promptly answer. I can do this because I am in control of the Publish button and you’re not. Not my Publish button anyway. You may have your own and I might remind you that you can use use your Publish button to ask me a question, in case you didn’t know it.
So I was talking with an acquaintance the other day about all things Internet and lo and behold, something very similar to this took place -
Question: What browser do you use?
Short answer: Quite a few.
Long Answer (go get a cup of coffee this could take a while): Thanks for asking! I’m going to use your question on my blog if you don’t mind. Yes, I do have a blog, I thought I told you. Well, the URL is right here on my business card, and on my t-shirt, and on my these bumper stickers… would you like one? Well, if you change your mind let me know.
To answer your question, I have used almost every browser made for the PC. I like different browsers for different reasons. I never liked IE though so let’s not go there. I have recently fallen for a new love in the browser world though. One that I think most bloggers will be switching over to in the future. The browser is FLOCK and I believe it’s fairly new. The latest version is 1.0.9 if that tells you anything.
Flock is the Social Networking browser. It’s based on a Netscape/Firefox shall we say, paradigm? But it also takes advantage of fact that most bloggers are involved in other social networks like, Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr and places these front and center on the opening page.
Now, I’m quite the Google fanatic too - although that’s a whole ‘nuther post - so it’s important to me that my browser works well with my iGoogle and Flock does that. It also, much like Firefox, can be extended through addons that customize your Flock to heart’s content.
Give it a try today, and let me know what you think. Might as well get started early and pretend to be one of the cool kids too.

Ok I am coming back because I think my last comment did not sound right. What I meant was that I take to heart what you suggest because I usually like the same things. Ok there, I feel better now
