See Ya Winter, You Won’t Be Missed
March 1st is still officially winter, no one has to tell me that. Trust me, I know.
Yet, flipping the page on the calendar gives me so much hope. Hope that the snow might stop falling out of the sky, hope that the 14 inches of that fluffy white evil covering the ground will soon melt, and hope that I’ll still recognize the color green when I see it again. I’m not a fan of winter and that’s putting it lightly. But spring is right around the corner and that is what I’ll set my sights on as I muddle through the final weeks of cold.
Here at BloggedIn-NN, March promises to be a great diversion while I’m waiting to see the sun again. Have you seen the wonderful blogger that have come on board as hosts of the various columns? What a blessing it is to have Shera, Overwhelmed, Linda, Lady Why, Dawn and last but never least Hallie helping out around here. Be sure to visit them here often to enjoy what they have to say. A little birdie told me that they really like comments too.
We’ve got a few wonderful interviews planned for March too.
I hope you’re enjoying this new publication of the Family-Friendly Blogs Network. We’d love for you to get involved. Send us a link to one of your favorite posts for us to highlight. Submit a post with your opinion on whatever subject. Or you could even be the first person to send in a question for our Ask Us feature. However you do it, we hope you decide to get involved and promote your blog in the process. After all, that’s what we’re here for!

And it’s not like there aren’t worse ways of spending your time. I’m just saying…

Honestly Lauren, if it came down to shoveling the evil fluffy stuff, or cleaning the toilet, I’d take the toilet hands down. I can’t stand winter either.
Yesterday in Colorado, it was a 73-degree summer day. Today? Maybe 30 degrees and snow! Apparently we’re not so much into transitions, we just jump from season to season. Kind of like playing Monopoly; one moment, you’re out in Marvin Gardens and the next you’re in jail. LOL!!
And Marvin Gardens is way more fun than jail! Hope you roll a double before you freeze!!
I’m actually dealing pretty well with winter because:
a. It never really gets too cold in Georgia.
b. I need to exercise before I’ll be comfortable in my summer wardrobe!
I must admit that Fall is my favorite season but there are some aspects I like about winter (hot cocoa, warms fires in the fireplace, baked goodies, etc). Still, I’m looking forward to this coming Spring as well!
