April Showers and other stuff
Can it be that another month has passed already?
It’s not like the view from my window has changed much in this last month. It seems that winter has dug in it’s heels and doesn’t plan on leaving anytime soon. Probably didn’t appreciate me trying to push it out the door so quickly.
I heard a news story the other day that told why so many fish are dying in the lakes in our area. You’d think it was because of the cold or ice but you’d be wrong. Plain and simple it’s a lack of sun. folks. If the sun doesn’t shine, the fish can’t see their food and they starve to death. And for months that sun, well she just refuses to do her part.
Now don’t go worrying that I’m starving too. I’m not. I can see my food just fine for the whole 2.5 seconds it’s on my plate before I inhale it. And anyone else’s plate that is within inhaling distance too.
Since the only changes I’ve been seeing around here are in my waistline, I’m considering making changes at BloggedIn-NN.com. Changes that will improve your overall experience here, of course. It’s been suggested the design and/or colors could be bothering some of you and if that’s the case please speak up. I value your opinion.
The changes that we’ve been considering are in the columns and features sections. Our mission at BloggedIn-nn is to be the center for all things family-friendly. More than that though we’d like to be a place for information and ideas. We’d also like to be a place for bloggers and non-bloggers alike to connect. We’re hoping that with a few clicks of the mouse each of you will find new, enjoyable family-friendly blogs to read.
We have two new features in the hopper (is that still a word?) so hopefully we’ll have the kinks worked out and be able to announce both of those by next month. We’d also love to hear some of your ideas for new features. Your input is invaluable to making this blog a great resource for those of us who prefer family-friendly over oh-my-that-was-truly-offensive or worse yet, my-eyes-my-eyes-they-burn-they-burn!
So if you like change as much as we do or if you just have a great idea, maybe even one you’d like to be involved in, let us know by using the contact form. You don’t have to have your own blog to get involved. Maybe writing your own column once a week is just right for you. Come on, be brave… join the fun. We won’t bite.

Well — I don’t have a problem with the way the site looks… it is also easy to navigate (except when you’re trying to find the code for google search — but I think that was “desperate user error”).
I have a hard time with change, but change is not always a bad thing!!! But who am I? I can’t even figure out how to enroll in network feed or whatever that is!
My-eyes-my-eyes-they’re-a-burnin! Classic.
I like the site just fine and think you are doing a great job. Maybe it is just getting the word out more. On some of the other sites I contibute to, we have found that having a facebook page, which allows you to update via “feed” and directs people to this place can bring more traffic…or even twitter (which is something that I am just learning about). But that may be too much…if you want more info let me know.
