May, a Month of Change
Did I ever tell you how much I like change? Next month our family will experience extreme change and I mean extreme but that is a subject for next month’s post. My point is that even with extreme change looming on the horizon, I was still thrilled with the changes at BloggedIn-NN too.
Change can be so invigorating and happens to be the closest I ever get to exercise.
This month will see our very first promotional giveaway. If all goes well, we’d really would love to have this be a regular feature. You can join our giveaway several ways so be sure to check it out here and maybe you’ll be the recipient of the $100 Target gift card.
We’ve added an Authors page so you can learn a little bit more about our ROCKIN’ writers. (Someone must have twisted my arm to use rockin’, seriously it’s not me and I’m cringing as I look at it in type. But they rock so they must be rockin’.)
We’ve also added a few columns by those authors you’re sure enjoy.
Every Friday, Kristen of Dine and Dish will be posting a weekend menu with a downloadable shopping list. Weekends are crazy and in most homes the family dinner table gets pushed aside for a quick burger in the car as we run from place to place. Planning ahead can fix that and as important as meal time is to family relationships you’ll want to do just that.
Hallie of Confessions from the Rubber Room will now be hosting her own column. Every few weeks she’ll review a book or curriculum available from her very own book store. She’ll give us the low down on some great family-friendly picks.
Tim, the founder of Restorations Resources, a marriage restoration ministry will be writing for BloggedIn-NN about relationships. This is a column that’s sure to bless each of us. I’ve known Tim, my former pastor in fact, for a number of years and I look forward to his teachings again.
And let’s see what else is happening this month? Did I mention the giveaway? Oh yes, I think I did.
Ah, did I mention the new managing editor? No? Then let me tell you about Amy of Life and Times of Eric’s Wife. Amy, is coming on board with some great ideas and a whole lot more energy than these 45-year-old bones, joints, and cellulite can muster. (I’d have included muscles if I had any. Sad but true.) If you liked her here, you’re gonna love her here.
And I think that it’s for the month’s changes, well except for the colors but you never know when those will change again.

I am just so excited! A give away! Who doesn’t love a give away? We are so rockin’!
Amy? Energy? Nah! That has never happened. Glad you brought her on board.
I am so sorry, Lauren. I had no idea my cousin knew I had a blog.
I’ve thought about it and I’ve decided your cousin can visit any time she wants to, Amy.
I’m an Amy fan too. And she didn’t even pay me to say that…really.
Hey Lauren…
You’re doing a WONDERFUL job over here! I love this place!
Looking forward to hearing about the new things in your life.
Thanks, Holly. I’m so glad you enjoyed your visit. We really have a wonderful team here and they get all the credit!
Can I just say that …. well …. I have cellulite that has a LOT of energy. In fact, my cellulite has a personality of its very own, and I find myself having to tame it every now and then. Like when I go around corners, and my cellulite wants to come flinging around right behind me… ehem.
So, I can’t tell you how excited I am about all these wonderful changes. Especially the Marriage Section, because that is one of my passions!!! You go girl! you’ve got some awesome connections, and I am in awe of your bright and talented mind! Now, if I could only find my own mind…
You know what they say… Change is good. I have a feeling that it will apply well in these cases too.
This is such a fun site!
Oooh, I’m heading over to Dine and Dish right now!! All the changes sound great. Although, since I just found your blog, the new stuff will be all I know. But it sounds like I’m coming in right at the right time!
May is a big month of changes at our home and work place. Change is not fun at any age, yet it also holds so many challenges with each change. God is in the details, so that is all that matter. Looking forward to your changes.
When I subscribed a few weeks ago, it was purely to be eligible to win the giftcard from Tarjay….
The pleasant surprise? Y’all’ve got substance! Imagine that
(and all I mean by that is sometimes collaborative blogs aren’t as content filled, it’s more about the giveaways….).
My reader is WAY too full, but you’re finding a way into my routine. And these changes of which you speak? Even more reason to stick around.
Keep doin’ what you’re doing–changes and all :).
Robin, that was an incredibly sweet. If we were giving a prize for Greatest Encouragement, this comment would be hard to beat. Thank you!!
Great blog and whatever changes you and your family are going to face, you will do it together! Keep supporting each other. it will all work out!
Sounds like fun! I especially love me some AMY!
