Problems Adding Code
Some bloggers have been having trouble adding the Family-Friendly Blogroll code to their sidebars. The majority of these bloggers are either blogspot bloggers or wordpress.com bloggers; I’d like to address these two groups of bloggers.
First, if you blog at wordpress.com - the free blogging service from wordpress - it is not as easy to add the code to your blog as you might wish. They do not allow javascript which is used in the code given to you. There is a way to join the blogroll but you will be required to follow a step-by-step plan and you will have to do this every other month in order to update the blogroll manually. If you want to attempt the process, please request the wordpress instructions. Once you implement them you will be added to the blogroll.
Secondly, for Blogspot bloggers who are now using the new Blogger, you can not use widgets (maybe known to you as Add an Element) to add the code to your blog if you want to add it in a scrollbar. With the new Blogger, once you add a new element and save the code, the code is changed in a way that makes it useless. You will end up with a blank white box instead of the blogroll. You need to go into the actual HTML code of your template and add the blogroll code there in order for it to appear properly in your sidebar.
If you do not know how to do this then please use the code from the following page: New Display Code for Blogroll

I would like to request the instructions on how to add the Family Friendly blogroll code to my blog. I blog at Wordpress, and when I attempt to add it to my blog, the area is blank.
Thanks so much!

I have it on my sidebar, and everything works fine except I get a red x on the top of my scrolling box above the words.. Join the family friendly network network.. How can I get this fixed.
Aloha
For some reason blogger started changing the graphic code from FFNetwork.png to ffnetwork.png.
You’ll need to capitalize the FFN again to make the graphic show up. UGH!
I would like to have the instructions to add the blogroll to wordpress.com. I have already added the badge (button) to my blog.
Thank you,
Amy Sullins
I would like to update the Family Friendly blogroll on my blog, I’ve noticed on other sites that quite a few new members have joined. I blog at Wordpress and cannot use the scrolling blogroll, and I’ve misplaced the instructions on how to update the blogroll on Wordpress from when I first joined.
Thanks so much for your help!

Many thanks in advance!

I’ve sent you the code, Kari.
I would like the blogroll wordpress instructions please.
Could I have wordpress instructions as well please?
You sent me the directions for putting the blogroll on Wordpress but it is still not allowing me to do it. I have the graphic there but try as I might, I can’t get it. Suggestions please?
I added the blogroll to my website. I did use the new code. The blogroll rolls, but the logo shows up with the red X in the little box and my page has an error on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is such a nice logo, I would love to have it showing. Thank you!
I’m having trouble with the blogroll in my sidebar. It’s great when IE is the browser, but in mozilla (which I started using more regularly lately), the blogroll doesn’t adjust its width to the width of my sidebar. It makes the sidebar as wide as my main section. Is there a way to fix that??
