Lauren - “But I used to run my own business,” was often and for years heard after Lauren was forced to admit she was just a stay-at-home mom. Being a loving wife and mother to three never seemed to be enough, not to woman who had found her worth in what she did rather than Who’s she was. Time has a way of teaching us the hard-learned truths and today, after being out of the work force for nearly twelve years, the blessing of having been home has more than proved itself to her.Today, Lauren runs a small internet media firm out of her home. Between web hosting and laundry she’s able to spend time with her husband and even dole out a whole lot of unwanted advice to their teenagers.

You can keep up with Lauren daily by following her on twitter.

Amy - In the second grade Amy wore an apron and pearls to school for Career Day. She was laughed out of the building. Undaunted, she continued her quiet study under the finest instructors in the high art of homemaking. Amy began her career as a homemaker in 2000 when she dropped out of a perfectly good college to marry Eric. She spends her days honing her craft on her two small children and adoring husband.

When she’s not wearing her apron, you’ll find Amy writing for her own personal blog and here every other Wednesday for the Awareness column. What’s that? You want to see her more than that? Just you wait.

Blue Thistle Book Reviews -Hallie Stevenson is a homeschooling, work at home, single mother of four children and the owner of Blue Thistle Books, a bookstore that specializes in homeschool curriculum and educational materials for home educators. However, most days she does try to convince God to add an hour or two to the twenty-four He has already graciously given us. For kicks Hallie plays with her camera and Photoshop and dreams about home cooked meals cooked by….someone else. To visit Hallie you can visit her at Confessions from the Rubber Room.
