New Display Code for Blogroll

We love this new option for displaying the Family-Friendly Blogroll. We haven’t added it to the JOIN page yet. We’ll do that as soon as we get a chance. We wanted to make it available now though to those who are interested. We’re guessing that a few of you will really like it.

This is what it will look like in your sidebar:

Like it? Thought so.

This is the code you’ll need:

<!–begin blogroll code –>
<div style="width:100%; margin:6px 0 4px 0; background-color:; -moz-border-radius:
8px !important;">
<center><a href="http://b-nn.com/index.php/ffnetwork-info/"><img
src="http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s101/blogusage/FFNetwork.png"
border="0" alt="Family-Friendly Network"/></a></center></div>
<center><a style="font-size:12px !important;" href="http://b-nn.com/index.php/ffnetwork-info/">Join
The Family-Friendly Network</a><br></center>
<div style="height:300px; scroll:auto; overflow:auto; margin: 4px 0
6px 0; padding: 8px 0 8px 4px; font: 10px verdana,arial; font-weight: bold;
line-height: 18px; text-align:left; background:#F4F4F4; border-top: 1px solid
#606060; border-right: 1px solid #ccc; border-bottom: 1px solid #ccc; border-left:
1px solid #606060; -moz-border-radius: 8px 8px 12px 12px;">
<marquee onmouseover=’this.stop()’ onmouseout=’this.start()’ height="300"
scrollAmount="2" scrollDelay="120" direction="up">
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript"
src="http://rpc.blogrolling.com/display.php?r=35262d1ea94b3ccaa349b7df8b4465f9"></script>
</marquee>
</div>
<!–end blogroll code –>

It should resize to fit any sidebar perfectly. Hopefully!

  2. i like it, too! :)

  3. THANK YOU!!! I was frustrated by the length of the roll, trying to find something like this on your site. This is WONDERFUL.

  4. It’s all up and running in my sidebar now. And I put the unbelievably long blogroll into a nice tidy dropdown box.

    Love, love this new site!

  5. Love it…just added it to my sidebar. It’s so much better than the old one! Thanks!

  6. Love it. I added it. I am going to need to get rid of the drop down menu I have of the FF further down…do I just delete it? Or will it mess up the other drop down menus I have there also?

  7. Just added this rolling list to take the place of the old one!!

    Thanks for the committment to clean sites!

  8. I have the new display code added to my site. I’m really glad this particular code works in Blogger. Many thanks!

  9. It looks marvellous.
    But when I add it to my blogger-blog, it gives an error message.
    Don’t know why.

  10. Love this code! Just added it to my sidebar! Thanks!!!

  11. I just added it…LOOOOVE IT!!! It looks great. Thank you! :-)

  12. I was able to add this, which solves the problem I asked about previously.

  13. Hey, L — I just upgraded my blog to the latest blogger. BUT… I can’t get either the above code to work, or the FFN Google search code to work…

    Can you help me out?????

    Thanks!

  14. Still trying to get it on my sidebar. Everything’s there except I get the red x someone mentioned previously. I tried changing to the FFNetwork.png, and saved the changes, but blogger just changed it back. HELP!

  15. Linda, I saw on your site that you already have the other graphic above the blogroll. So feel free to just delete the code the blogger changes on your blog to:
    http://mochawithlinda.blogspot.com/alt=%22Family-Friendly

    The red x should disappear then.

  16. ARGH! What am I doing wrong? I keep getting this message…
    Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
    XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup.

    I’m so lost.

  17. I too am having trouble with the code. The top “Proud member of”… won’t show up. I replaced the http with Lauren’s suggestion (4/4) and that’s not working either. Can I delete that part of the code, or will it not be detected without it? Thanks!

  18. Hi Sharon,
    As I told Linda, just go ahead and delete that block of code if blogger keeps changing it on you. That’s fine.

  19. I still don’t know how to fix this. :-(

  20. I have the same red x problem. The graphic isn’t showing up above the blogroll. I read through these comments, but can’t seem to see the solution. Any help would be appreciated.
